    The two black sealing O-rings are mounted in the extraction head gasket and the filter unit.

    The black sealing O-ring in the extraction head gasket ensures that the extraction agent cannot leak upwards, meaning that the extraction agent flows down through the BHO Extractor ADDIPURE and out via the opening in the filter unit with the 3-layer BHO filter system.

    The second black sealing O-ring in the filter unit ensures that the extraction agent can only pass through the round opening via the filter system.

    The black sealing O-rings are resistant against extraction agents such as ADDIPURE Dimethyl Ether (DME) and ADDIPURE n-Butane.

    The sealing O-rings may develop fine tears, depending on the number of extractions performed or the age of the rings. If the sealing O-rings become hard and brittle like this, they need to be replaced. This will ensure that the extraction agent flows down correctly through the extraction tube and out through the filter unit.
