ADDIPURE has got that covered! All you have to do is fill the empty space using ADDIPURE Technical Glass Beads. This saves extraction agent, reduces the risk of ignition and releases fewer environmentally harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

    The empty space in the vertical extraction column should be filled carefully with ADDIPURE Technical Glass Beads from above. It is best to fill the top 1-2 cm with ADDIPURE Technical Glass Beads so the extraction agent is evenly distributed over the plant material. The Glass Beads will not mix with the herb or plant material below.

    ADDIPURE Technical Glass Beads should be cleaned and disinfected after plant extraction to guarantee the high purity levels of the oil extract obtained. For that we recommend ADDIPURE 2in1 Cleaner Disinfectant.

    ADDIPURE Technical Glass Beads are gas-resistant (laboratory-certified) against extraction gas such as ADDIPURE Dimethyl Ether (DME) or ADDIPURE n-Butane.

The extraction agents used, such as ADDIPURE DME or ADDIPURE n-Butane, are highly flammable. They can burst under intense heat. Extinguish all flames, keep away from electric appliances and other flammable sources. Do not smoke during the extraction process. It is recommended to wear safety goggles and a protective coverall/shoe cover (compliant EN 1149-5 Protective clothing). Wearing ADDIPURE extraction gloves during the extraction is recommended.
